Minsan ang hirap hindi ma homesick pagkatapos mapakinggan ang mga OPM sa ipod ko. Minsan nakakabingi ang hindi makarinig ng nagtatagalog.
Oh my gosh! Can Matthew Gubler get any hotter??
After that deep introduction from my Political Science class, it made me wonder whether or not I truly know who I am, what my purpose in life is, and if I am doing what it takes to reach my goal (and the question lies, do I or do I not have a goal established). “Should-hood leads to shithood,” he says. I wonder if I’ve been living my Own philosophy in life or if I am a puppet of the people that surround me. I do not know what I am or who I am. I don’t know which label I should put upon myself. I do not know.
What do I really want? I have been asking that question since the lecture. Today, I was put into a test. I have mixed feelings right now and I do not know what I have done or where it came from. I think about the things I do not know, the things I think I should not think about (but still needs to be taken into consideration once in a while), and the things I think I should be thinking about.
There is a weakness in everyone and my weakness is ever present right now.
For all those asking, this is unfortunately not my photo [I wish it was!]. If you click on the photo you will see it through it’s original posting. It can also be found by clicking here.
6 year old being pat down at the airport ↘
The little girl’s parents said that it’s wrong for them to pat a six year old down because she didn’t do anything wrong. The mother also stated in an interview that that incident is making the kid vulnerable to sexual harassment, that she teaches her kids to not have other people touch her in certain places and here they are letting them do that to their kid.
Some people say that the TSA was “groping” the kid. I don’t think so. Groping means fondling certain places for sexual pleasure. I don’t think that trying to prevent people from sneaking drugs and etc. through their kids is anything related to sexual pleasure. Yes, it can happen that the TSAs could be pedophiles or whatnot, but I’m pretty sure that work places such as the airport do a background check on their applicants before hiring them. It’s stupid that people assume that it’s all about pedophiles right away.
The parents of the kid is stating that the kid’s rights were being violated. Well, have they forgotten what happened during 9-11? The government is trying its best (at least i hope so) to prevent terrorists and drug addicts and all those sick people from getting through surveillance and protect the people they may encounter with. There are so many sick people out there that use their kids to smuggle goods. If the TSAs would not inspect EVERYONE then they would not be able to PROTECT EVERYONE from terrorists and drug addicts and etc.People need to surrender some of their rights so that they can be protected. IF everyone is not going to cooperate then the government cannot do their job from protecting its citizens. What do these parents want? Racial profiling? Just because they’re white they should be exempted? SO many criminals/terrorists out there aren’t just Muslims. that’s why EVERYONE NEEDS TO BE SCREENED.
